And the Will which in lies,
Which never dies.
Who knows the extent
And the mystery of the Will?
Man’s own Will.
With its sultry vigor,
And a feeble cowardice undeserving of heaven’s
True name.
And for God!
Who that never dies,
Which doth not yield.
And his trinity within,
Makes man’s Will passionate
Without quanderance,
And a weakening posture unbecoming of heaven’s
True name.
It pervades all things
By nature of its intentness.
It Will not yield
Man to Angels,
Nor unto Death,
Nor unto Darkness utterly.
